We are delighted to announce the launch of our new international strategy,  Global Glasgow 2025. This strategy articulates our global ambitions, and supports the vision conveyed in our institutional strategy, World Changers Together, World Changing Glasgow 2025, launched in 2021. 

At the heart of this new international strategy is the power of collaboration and teamwork. The unprecedented events of the last two years have shown that as a university we flourish when we work together. Now more than ever, it is vital that we remain global in outlook and collaborative in approach. Scientific and social solutions to the pandemic, climate change and the grand challenges of our time will require both cross-disciplinary and cross-border cooperation that harness the power of collective expertise.

Connecting, sharing and collaborating has never been more important in responding to the grand challenges of our time.

Over two days, we will bring together 18 of our sector-leading partners and sector bodies from around the world, including, among others, Universities UK International, University of Sydney, The World 100 Reputation Network, UC Davis, African Research Universities Alliance, Kyushu University, Universitas 21 and The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities. Through six thought-provoking sessions, we will come together to share expertise and explore new opportunities in research, learning and teaching, student experience and partnership development.
